We believe that the Bible is the Holy and inspired Word of God, without error in its original form. In it, we find the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of humanity, and direction for Christian living.
We believe in the Triune nature of God; one God in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, eternally existing. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins, but conquered sin and death as He resurrected from the grave three days later. He ascended into heaven and sits next to God the Father and serves as our Lord and Advocate.
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit and His ministry to lead and guide the believers in Christ. He empowers the Christian for holy living and enables them to build up the church through spiritual gifts.
We believe that God created man in His own image to be in relation with Him. However, man broke that relationship because of sin and can do nothing to restore that relationship. God in His great grace provided the only way of restoration through His Son, Jesus Christ, Who died for us. Only through faith in Jesus can we obtain salvation and eternal life with God.
We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the only two ordinances that the church has been directed to observe in this present age. While they remind us of Christ and His work, they are not a means for salvation.
We believe that the church is comprised of all believers of all ages, race, gender, and socioeconomic background. The church is meant to picture unity in Christ and to present themselves as the bride of Christ.
We believe in the second coming of Christ in which He will return to judge the world and bring full restoration from the brokenness of sin. The time of His return is unknown and gives the believers urgency to bring the message of hope in Christ to their respective communities and to the far reaches of the world.
